The AluK BSF70 HI is the aluminium bifolding system currently supplied by WGS Glazing — a 70mm system depth designed for large residential openings and everyday use.

AluK BSF70 HI
WGS Glazing's established high-quality bifold system — PAS 24 tested, Secured by Design certified, thermally improved and proven across many local installations.
Premium range
Origin OB36+
A premium British-manufactured option with ultra-slim 36mm sightlines, extensive customisation, premium hardware and a guarantee of up to 20 years subject to Origin's terms.
Security
The BSF70 HI has been independently tested to PAS 24 and is Secured by Design certified — the police-backed standard for secure building products. Multi-point locking engages the door set at several points around the frame rather than a single point.
Thermal performance
The thermally improved aluminium system helps keep the room comfortable and reduces heat loss. U-values of approximately 1.4 W/m²K are achievable double glazed, and approximately 1.1 W/m²K triple glazed.
Thermal values depend on the configuration and glazing specified — not every finished door achieves the same figure.

Panel Configurations
Bifold doors are made up of folding sashes. Depending on the design and the way you want the opening to work, panels can stack to one side or be split between both sides, and a single opening leaf can be included.

Sizing
Panel Sizes
Individual panels can be designed up to approximately 1.2m wide in suitable configurations. Maximum permissible panel width reduces as panel height increases and also depends on glazing weight and overall door configuration.
Final sizes are confirmed as part of the specification and survey.

Aluminium bifold doors are available in a wide choice of durable powder-coated finishes, with dual-colour options for a different colour inside and out.

Supply & fit
Surveyed, supplied and professionally installed by WGS Glazing, with final manufacturing sizes confirmed by us at survey.
