A Roof Lantern That Gets Out Of The Way
Korniche is the aluminium roof lantern supplied and installed by WGS Glazing. Its slim rafters keep the structure discreet, so the glass does the work.
A lantern is usually specified alongside a new or refurbished flat roof. It sits on a kerb built up from the roof structure, which is then weathered into the roof covering.
Because the light arrives from above, a lantern lifts the middle of a room in a way that doors and windows on one elevation cannot.

- Powder-coated aluminium in a choice of finishes — including anthracite, agate grey and white — with dual-colour options available.
- Supplied with the glazing
- Specify the lantern at the same time as your bifold or sliding doors and the whole extension is coordinated.
- Installed by WGS
- Surveyed, supplied and fitted by the same local team, with the kerb and weathering detailed properly.
Measuring
Roof lanterns are sized from the external face of the finished kerb, including the roof membrane. Send us the external kerb width and length and we can prepare an initial quotation; final sizes are confirmed on site before manufacture.
