Our Flagship Premium Bifold
The OB36+ is Origin's slimmest external door system, with 36mm sightlines. Slim aluminium profiles mean a greater proportion of the opening reads as glass, which suits architectural extensions, garden rooms and wide rear openings.
Every set is made bespoke: panel count, opening direction, threshold, glazing, colour and hardware are all specified for the individual project, then surveyed and installed by WGS Glazing.
Typical lead time: approximately 3–6 weeks, depending on product and colour.

Thermal efficiency
Origin state that U-values as low as 0.78 W/m²K can be achieved. The figure achieved depends on the system, the configuration and the glazing specification chosen — it is not a guaranteed value for every door set.
Security
Origin external door systems feature purpose-designed multi-point locking and meet PAS 24. The OB49 and OB72 systems additionally carry Secured by Design accreditation.
Bespoke sizing
Premium-grade aluminium is strong and light, which allows large and complex layouts — including corner configurations — while keeping sightlines slim. Final sizes are confirmed by WGS at survey.
